Additional Info:	Vern is specializes in documenting the built environment but takes great pride in his environmental portraits, personal projects and landscape imagery. This is added to by an interest in the people that I see and meet in my travels. The driving force behind vern's work is passion, and this is immediately evident once engaged in conversation. His ever increasing thirst for knowledge serves as his inspiration. Once described as observational, his images are "obsessively composed" and often taken from an outside vantage point enabling the viewer to study the subject. This observational imagery is vern's way of bring . Vern lives in Gibsons, BC with his beautiful wife but works wherever a train, plane or automobile will take him. When he is not taking pictures he is either building something, writing, aimlessly wandering around areas or enjoying the company of friends.
