Additional Info:	Recently awarded 2010 PPLA {Professional Photographers of Louisiana} First Place in Portraiture - Portrait of a Child. Award-winning photographer Susan Stevison has been photographing for over 17 years. She has received awards from the Society of Professional Photographers, Photography Forum magazine, Professional Photographers of Louisiana, and Acadiana Professional Photographers Guild. Her work has been published in numerous magazines, and she was once named Photography Forum magazine's "Top 1000 photographers". Currently Susan works in the commercial, portraiture and wedding photography industry. She also, teaches digital photography at her studio in Pineville, LA. Susan’s artistic style of photography comes from her background in photojournalism and fine art photography. She began her photographic career in 1990. Her interest in photography developed much earlier. Her mother, a Portrait Artist, fostered her photography interests when she was a young girl. Susan credits her family and especially her husband, Joel, for his praise and support. She strives to capture the real-life memories of her clients, as she does with her own family. Susan’s studio is located in downtown Pineville, LA. Nestled among some of the oldest main street businesses in Pineville. The studio sits outside of Pinecrest grounds, Louisiana College, and the beautiful Red River. She also enjoys traveling to client’s homes and venturing to special locations. Susan is a member of the Professional Photographer's of America, Professional Photographer's of Louisiana, Texas Professional Photographers, and the Acadiana Professional Photographer's Guild. “You will see in your portraits that I love what I do.”
