They will make a decision to bring you in to read based on that one headshot. When you leave the audition you want to feel confident that you are leaving them with the best possible impression of you. As an experienced actor, I know what to look for during our photo shoot. The best way to achieve this is by shooting with natural light in a non studio or studio environment. Natural light is honest, beautiful and flattering. You will look real and believable, which is extremely important to agents and casting directors. Susan Alvarez has been shooting for about fourteen years and discovered her passion in headshots. "When I look through the lens, I see beauty," she says. "Now when I look at a person, I start taking pictures in my head and know just how to bring out the best in anyone." Before the shoot Susa makes it a point to get to know the customer, which creates a trust and develops a relaxing relationship. Clients are typically thrilled with their images.
