Adam Monk is recognised as one of Australia's most inspired landscape photographers and has been photographing the Australian wilderness for over 25 yeas. His work has won numerous awards and hangs in many private collections, both in Australia and around the world.
"I have been camping and hiking since i was young, i have always loved the wild untouched places, the peace and quiet of the bush both here in Australia and in my travels overseas to other countries.
Landscape Photography was a natural next step, to be able to bring some of these raw Naked Landscapes back home, to show them to others and hopefully inspire a little of the same things I feel when Im out there. I have been taking photographs of one sort another since I was about 12 years old, and always loved playing with cameras. After returning from a huge 12 month trip through the US and Central America in 1994 (with a Canon F1 camera), I had a major direction change and decided to make my hobby my profession."
Adam is an environmentalist and is a strong supporter of "Save the Kimberley" and Australian Wildlife Conservancy to list just a few. He believes that our environment is very fragile and that everyone should be doing their bit to save what is left of our beautiful wilderness and wildlife.
Adam is a Master Photographer and a member of the AIPP |

Adam will take commissions by negotiation. If you like his work and want to produce large format prints for your office or your home of your own specific places. If you want a professional to produce exceptional work and you are prepared to pay for it, then please email your brief and Adam will respond. As an environmentalist Adam will not accept a commission to photograph an oil well or a open cut mine. He will travel if required and can also produce his work up to 4 meters for landscapes, either archival pigment on archival canvas, Rag Cotton or Chrome. |
