Additional Info:	Meredith "Haley" Sonson is an internationally published fine art photographer. She was born and raised in Miami Beach, Florida. Shortly after graduating from The University of Florida she moved to Los Angeles to attend art school at the distinguished Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, upon which she graduated Cum Laude and was honored for her achievements by being chosen as the Art Institutes September 1998 "Alumni in Focus." Although she is interested in a variety of different types of photography including vibrant florals, retro neon signs at night, capturing genuine expressions of people and much more, one of the areas she specializes in and loves is photographing pets. Photography and animals are her passions from which she derives pure genuine joy while also expressing herself. These passions along with her creative eye have made her pet portraits known for being full of personality, detail, unique perspectives and striking use of color." She has been rewarded for her photography by "The Humane Association," winning 1st place in the "Cats" category. "The Pampered Puppy" Honorable Mention. "Cat Connection" 1st place winner. As well as photography awards received by The International Library of Photography, Circle of Photographers, The International Society of Photographers, Photography Laureates and various other photography organizations.
