I am the owner and operator of a photography business in the Sacramento area and have provided a premium service that has pleased many brides, families, and business clients over many years. I produce photographs of families, high school seniors and children, as well as custom photography for advertising and corporate needs such as conventions and large groups.
I have worked as an assistant in a commercial studios early in my career in Los Angeles where I became proficient with lighting. Having photographed countless weddings, I can easily pose my clients for their best look. I have the ability to photograph outdoors producing a natural balance of light and in studio with strobe equipment. I provide digital retouching for photographic enhancement for all of our finished portraits. I attend many seminars and classes for on going education to stay current with new innovations and ideas in the industry.
Established in 1984 Jay Cowle Photography began soon after Susan and Jay were married. Jay's interest in photography began early in high school and continued as a hobby well after graduating collage. After leaving restaurant management, Jay move back to Los Angeles, CA to attend Santa Monica College to learn more about the techniques of photography, posing and lighting and working as an assistant to several commercial photographers in LA. This is where Jay honed his skill become one of the most recognized photographers in Sacramento and northern California. The business has evolved over the years from commercial photography to wedding photography, family portraits, infants, children and high school seniors.
