Additional Info:	I am a professional photographer specialising in wildlife, marine fauna, Antarctic, landscape and arts photography. I am passionate about exploring, understanding and protecting wild environments and I am fascinated by the ocean. My photography and artwork is driven by a need to share the awe and beauty I have been lucky enough to experience and to foster a more nurturing and informed response to our world. I originally studied art, design and photojournalism but I am largely self taught. I started working with wildlife in New Zealand and then moved to Australia in 1985 where I currently specialise in photo ID of marine mammals. Over an 11 year period I voyaged to Antarctica 13 times to assist with research on whales and other wildlife. I now work at sea on various wildlife research projects for a large portion of each year. I moved back to New Zealand in 2010 and I am developing my photography and arts practise further here although I still do much of my work in Australia and overseas. My images are published in many books, magazines, calendars and websites internationally and my video footage and stills have been used in wildlife documentaries and science shows.
Fees:	My fees are negotiable and I am happy to support wildlife and conservation projects, often charging only a minimal fee to cover costs - especially when accompanying expeditions of interest or for educational projects.
