Additional Info:	Clark James Mishler www.mishlerphotos.com Clark James Mishler was born in Wyandotte, Michigan in 1948. Trained as a graphic designer, Mr. Mishler was first introduced to the photographic process in the early 1970's at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles. In 1977, Mr. Mishler was hired by the National Geographic Magazine as a layout editor. In 1979 he left Washington, D.C. for Alaska to pursue a career in photography. Over the past twenty-five years, Mr. Mishler's editorial photographs have been published in numerous regional, national and international publications including Alaska Airlines Magazine, Alaska Magazine, Anchorage Daily News, Business Week, Bicycling, Coastal Living, Communications Arts, Cosmopolitan, Country Inns, Disney Adventures, E Magazine, Entrepreneur, GEO, Islands, MAC Week, Los Angeles Times, Mutual Funds, National Geographic, National Geographic Traveler, National Geographic World, National Geographic Books, Outdoor Photographer, Parade, Rolling Stone, Self, Shape, Sierra, Smithsonian, Smithsonian Air & Space, Sports Illustrated, Sunset, Time, U.S. News and World Report, Wilderness, World Traveler and XXL Magazine. Mr. Mishler currently lives in Anchorage and is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers and The National Press Photographer's Association.
