Andrew Chin began his professional career as a photographer with Singapore’s premier English-language newspaper, The Straits Times. In the four years that he was in the press he covered subjects as diverse as business, politics, disaster, people and products. He moved on to commercial photography in 1988, and now owns his own digital studio, Picture Wagon.

He has also worked on advertisements, corporate and marketing brochures and annual reports.

Besides conventional photography services, Picture Wagon also does digital imaging. We have the facilities to have images and text electronically scanned, manipulated and cast out into hard copy in the form of film, prints or display posters ( A1-size and larger ). If preferred, the final output may even be in digital form. We can work from scratch with materials such as film, prints, Syquest cartridges, Photo-CDs and other electronic media. Or just concept.

Where necessary, Picture Wagon has the backing of a pool of experienced and independent photographers and designers. Some of them have assisted Andrew Chin on major assignments, like the production of daily publications ( Asian Aerospace Show Daily and PATA Dailies, all produced digitally ) and overseas trips. Andrew Chin has travelled extensively on assignment, such as to the U.S.A., U.K., Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, The Philippines, South Korea, India , New Zealand, Canada and Australia.
