I was born on June, the 3rd, 1974, in Songo, Mozambique. I live in the north litoral of Portugal. I’m a professional photographer since 1998. Mainly for the press, and as a theater photographer, doing also some fashion and institucional photography. I have an MA on documental photography. I believe that I photograph because I always tried to recreate the memory that I don’t have of my childhood, through the images stored in that green old bag, my mother always had. I seek answers through photography. I photograph to feed the fuel of my the heart, the stomach and the pleasures of consumption. I still think one can erase the boundaries between artistic and commercial work. |
